Raising and Aging

First thing Ace wanted to do the next morning was paint. So he officially has taken over my easel. Well it's probably happy that I stopped abusing it with my terrible paintings anyway. So I let him have it. He seemed to enjoy it so much anyway.

Meanwhile, Piers took over the surfboard outside. He really enjoyed doing tricks with it, though I wished he wouldn't. I understood that he was a Faery and all, but he could still get hurt. Maybe it was me just being a mother but it worried me to see him doing handstands on the waves.

While the boys were messing around, me and Helena got to work. She was helping me by potty training one of the triplet boys.

While I got the other. Little Vivia played with blocks while she waited her turn. Isn't she cute?

And finally it was her turn to learn to potty. She did so well, just like her brothers.

Helena went on to be a big help by helping teach Elliot how to talk.

I meanwhile had other problems. Little Viva was causing trouble by bringing out her werewolf side. I wondered how I would be bale to deal with her during her first full moon. Maybe I should call someone from her pack...

I man managed to get her settled down enough to learn to talk. She just needed a bribe of some food.

Big brother Piers was a big help as well. I was glad that he decided to help instead of spending his whole day surfing.

After a long day of skilling, we put the werewolf triplets in three. My twins really helped me out, we got all three of them talking and the boys were almost done with their potty.

Before he went to bed, Ace finished his painting. It had taken him all day. He seemed really proud of it and despite it being his first painting and therefore not that grand, I really liked it.

So much so that I framed it and its on display in the house right now.

The next day brought upon us more pottying...

Some shakey first steps...

And lots of older siblings helping out.

While we were busy skilling the little ones, Ace left to go fishing. He said he wanted to help out and since we had two new mermaid babies, I would need more fish and kelp. He asked if he could go diving to get the kelp but that's a little dangerous. Maybe when he's a teenager I'll take him diving with me sometime.

By the next day, the toddlers had all their skills done and so I looked upon my babies one last time. I was aging them up today. I was going to wait until Piers and Helena were ready, along with Ace but I didn't see much harm in aging them up a little early.

First we aged up little Blood.

He looks so much like his Grandmother.

Elliot was next.

It's a little easier to tell his brother and him apart now. They wear different color shirts and have different hair styles. He looks a bit more like me than my mother too.

Vivaldi was the last to age up and she was quite excited about it.

But as she aged up into a child, I realized that the full moons would now begin to affect her. A little bit of fear crept into my heart. I didn't know much about raising wolves.

I called Sherewood to talk to him about the situation. He assured me that she wouldn't be too bad until she was a teenager. I just had to be strict with her and if I had any major problems, he would come over every full moon. That reassured me a little bit. I loved my little girl, but at the same time I was worried about raising her right.

Well...everything went well the past few days, so much so that Piers and Helena convinced me that Saturday to take a day to myself. I went swimming, like I used to when I lived at home. It was nice being back in the water. I almost expected to see my sisters in the water, but I didn't. I guess that was for the best.

I even found time to do my favorite activity, exploring the cave system underwater. The caves linked many of my favorite diving spots together. Me and my sisters used to play hide and seek in them when we were teenagers.

But too soon I had to head home, back to my children. I would just have to try and remember to have a few more days to myself after this. I still smiled at the thought of tucking my babies into bed though. I was happily the mother of six babies right now and hopefully many more in the future.

I know it was short and there were no new babies, but really there was so much between the next baby so I made a little between chapter. I hope it was at least interesting. Next chapter will have a new baby! Thank you for reading :)
